Our team members have either immigrated to the U.S. ourselves, or have family members who went through the immigration process. Because of this, we have the special ability to understand just how you feel, and how significant this process can be to each individual. It is our goal that our clients feel differently about their immigration experience.

Shiyang Gong

LEAD ATTORNEY

Attorney Gong is a partner at DeHeng Law Offices Silicon Valley, where she focuses on business immigration matters. She serves as a strategic legal partner to public companies and start-up ventures, providing immigration legal services and immigration compliance advice. Her practice involves a full range of employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant matters, and she has developed an expertise in immigration solutions for multinational executives, outstanding individuals, and investors. She has successfully handled more than two thousand cases with her deep knowledge base and extensive practical experiences.

Attorney Gong graduated from School of Law, Vanderbilt University and was admitted to the New York State Bar. Before join DeHeng Law Offices Silicon Valley, she worked as an attorney for a Wall Street law firm in New York City and an immigration law firm in Silicon Valley, and then as founder and CEO for AILaw, a legal technology company in Silicon Valley.

Neha Hemmad

COUNSEL

Attorney Neha Hemmad She has extensive experience in both family based and employment based immigration law, specifically in the areas of E-2, L-1, EB-1A and EB-1C. She has worked for large immigration law firms throughout law school, and as a practicing attorney she brings with her deep knowledge of complex immigration laws.

Neha Hemmad graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from UC Irvine in 2008, and went on to obtain a J.D. and LLM in Taxation from the Golden Gate University School of Law.

Chadbourne Converse

PROFESSIONAL WRITER

Mr. Converse is a native of California and attained a double Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 2010. For professional education, he studied contract, property, land use, administrative and environmental law at King Hall School of Law, at the University of California at Davis, graduating in 2013. For a number of years, he worked with leading Silicon Valley immigration law firms as head clerk and leader of the professional writing team, becoming an expert in contracts relating to investments in real estate, construction development and finance, as well as matters relating to formation and maintenance of California business entities.
