June 2021 Visa Bulletin Updates

According to the Department of State Visa Bulletin, the employment-based Final Action cutoff dates and Dates for Filing have advanced greatly in June 2021. The USCIS has announced that it will honor the “Final Action Dates” for all the employment-based Adjustment of Status applications, which means the USCIS will keep the “Dates for Filing” closed in June 2021. As predicted by the DOS last month, EB-2 and EB-3 Final Action dates for China and India indeed advance quickly. The details of June 2021 Final Action dates are as below:

  • Final Action Dates of EB-1: Dates for all countries, including China and India, remain current.

  • Final Action Dates of EB-2: China has moved forward from 12/01/2016 to 05/01/2017 (6 months); India has moved forward from 08/01/2010 to 12/01/2010 (4 months); all other countries remain current.

  • Final Action Dates of EB-3: China has moved forward from 05/15/2018 to 09/01/2018 (3.5 months); India has moved forward from 02/01/2011 to 11/01/2011 (9 months); all other countries remain current.

  • Final Action Dates of EB-5: China has moved forward from 08/15/2015 to 09/15/2015 (1 month); Vietnam has moved forward from 02/15/2018 to 04/15/2018 (2 months); all other countries remain current.
